ARC DABO ASSURES SUPPORT TOWARDS HOSTING OF ACHSN NORTH-WEST ZONAL DELEGATES CONFERENCE IN KANO.
The Proprietor of AD-COHST Arc (Dr) Aminu Dabo says his College appreciated the significant role community health workers are playing in the provision of healthcare services delivery in society.
Arc Aminu Dabo made this assertion today when he received a delegation from the Association of Community Health of Nigeria ACHSN (North-West Chapter) led by Comrd Ahmad Muhammad Auwal on a courtesy visit to his office.
He expressed satisfaction with the Association's efforts by coming up with consistent enlightenment programs to raise awareness of the prospects of the profession and to further enlighten the students to enable them to develop hope in their future career.
The Proprietor assured the readiness of the College to give necessary assistance to the Association in its activities with a view to ensuring students received the best training in both theory and practice.
Arc Dabo however, enjoined community health students to stay focused on their studies and ensure they give their best after completion of training for the improvement of the communities.
Responding, the leader of the team, Comrd Ahmad Muhammad Auwal, expressed delight with the accelerated development of the College and appealed to the Management to support the association with logistics towards the hosting of its Delegates Conference re-scheduled to be held in Kano in August this year.
He disclosed that, during the week-long events, a series of programs including public lectures, drama, presentation of awards and honours will feature to mark the occasion.
